Un video inédito de Queen muestra a Freddie Mercury celebrando el lanzamiento de “One Vision”

Freddie pasándola bien con sus compañeros de banda es lo mejor que vas a ver hoy.

Año 1985: Queen lanza A Kind of Magic, un discazo de punta a punta. Ahí estaba One Vision, uno de los sencillos de este álbum que fue remasterizado en 2011. El lanzamiento de este corte ameritó una fiesta, y este video muestra cómo fue el festejo.

La cuenta de instagram freddie_mrcry sube permanentemente material inédito de la banda. Ellos fueron quienes revelaron este video de la fiesta de “One Vision“, que compila imágenes de la celebración. Aparecen todos los integrantes de la banda, con varios vasos en la mano y mostrándose muy divertidos por el gran hit lanzado.

Just look at how adorable they are ❤️ ⁣ ⁣ 💿 Queen was inspired to write this by their Live Aid appearance in 1985 – millions of people sharing one vision of a better world. When the band was approached to perform at Live Aid, they were in a rut and reticent to appear. But after their show-stopping performance, they re-entered the studio with renewed energy. They were back in Munich (a place they had previously hit trouble during the Hot Space sessions), but this time spent a lot of time working in the studio, not being distracted by drugs or other distractions – unlike the earlier sessions.⁣ ⁣ 🎙 All four band members helped writing this. Most Queen songs were written separately, mostly out of a desire to keep writing credits to themselves – Brian May has often hinted in interviews that he was quite possessive of his own songs. But this also made sure their songs didn’t all sound alike. The idea of writing a song together came from Freddie. He rang the other three members and asked them to come to the studio, where the writing and recording sessions were taped 🎶

“Los cuatro integrantes de la banda ayudaron a escribir esto. La mayoría de las canciones de Queen se escribieron por separado (…) La idea de escribir una canción juntos vino de Freddie. Llamó al resto de la banda y les pidió que vinieran al estudio, donde se grabaron las sesiones de escritura y grabación” termina diciendo el posteo.
